Is it Spring yet?

What a beautiful, warm day I woke up to. Sadly, the trees are still bare and it is brown everywhere I look; an interesting contrast. My oldest daughter is on band tour with college and today she stopped in at my old stomping grounds, the heart of Philadelphia. I was younger than her when I left home and haven't lived there since. She told me all the places she visited and I could picture them clearly in my minds eye; I'm sure they have all changed. My daughter is in the spring of her life and it is an amazing and exciting time. Everything is fresh and new. This made me think of the seasons of my life. I have already lived through the spring and summer, I am placing myself in the beginning of fall. I look forward to all the changes fall will bring and am grateful for the wonderful experiences I have already had in spring and summer. What ever season you are in at this point in your life, I wish you happy travels and plenty of sunshine along the way.

My World is Open for Business!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog spot. I should have done this years ago. I am getting ready to go over my manuscript for my latest book. My critique group always gives me great advice and way too much to think about. It's nice to take a break and say hello to folks. I am always looking for authors, illustrators, editors and publishers to share ideas and journeys with. So drop me a line sometime. I look forward to meeting you.
